About Our School Building Program

Education is the most powerful weapon against poverty and inequality. Satnam Trust's School Building Program was launched with the vision of ensuring that every child, regardless of their family's economic status, has access to a safe, well-equipped, and nurturing learning environment. In many rural parts of Chhattisgarh, children walk miles to reach the nearest school, and many schools lack basic infrastructure such as proper classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sanitation facilities.

Our program addresses these challenges through a comprehensive approach that includes constructing new schools in underserved areas, renovating existing infrastructure, providing learning materials and scholarships, and training teachers to deliver quality education. Each school we build is designed to include modern classrooms, computer labs, sports facilities, and libraries to provide students with a well-rounded educational experience that prepares them for the future.

Currently, we are in the planning phase for our first model school at Bhandarpuri, Raipur, with two additional schools planned for Baloda Bazaar and Arang. Our goal is to establish 5 schools and 3 digital literacy centers by 2030, benefiting over 3,000 students. Beyond infrastructure, we focus on curriculum quality, teacher training, and community engagement to ensure that each school becomes a center of learning excellence and a catalyst for development in its surrounding area.
